LONDON — U.K. distributor Signature Entertainment has inked a slate deal with the U.S. production company Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films.

The six-film pact comes after a deal the two companies signed on the upcoming movie “Precious Cargo” at the Cannes Film Market. The actioner, which stars Bruce Willis, is slated to hit theaters next year.

The first project to come from this new partnership is “Shadow Warrior.” While no details have been released on the film, it is set for release at the end of 2016.

Owned by Randall Emmett and George Furla, Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films has had success in producing star-driven films, including “Lone Survivor,” “Escape Plan” and “Everest.” The company is currently working on the post-production for Martin Scorsese’s latest offering, “Silence.”

Signature’s owner and managing director, Marc Goldberg, said: “Randy and George are two of the most exciting and commercial film producers in the world, and we are delighted to be collaborating with them. Audiences around the globe have enjoyed their dynamic and recognized films. They are an established production company with a consistent track record for bringing entertaining films to the market.”

Signature has had a successful two-year run distributing movies such as “Predestination,” “Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return” and gangster drama “Rise of the Krays,” which sold more than 40,000 units in its first week of home entertainment release.
