'Wet Hot American Summer,' 'Sense8' also get premiere dates

Netflix has set premiere dates for season three of “Orange Is the New Black” and a number of new series. “OITNB” will return on June 12, “Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp” bows July 17, and “Sense8” — the new drama from Andy and Lana Wachowski — premieres June 5. Canadian thriller “Between” will debut sometime in May.

Original specials premiering in the coming months include “Chris D’Elia: Incorrigible” on April 17; “Jen Kirkman: I’m Gonna Die Alone (And I Feel Fine)” on May 22 and “What Happened, Miss Simone” on June 26.

“Sense8,” a sci-fi thriller, is described as a global tale of minds linked and souls hunted. In “Between,” a town is under siege from a mysterious disease that has killed everybody — except for those 21 years old and younger. “What Happened, Miss Simone” is a biographical documentary film about Nina Simone, directed by Liz Garbus, which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.
