British TV-focused VOD service Acorn has acquired the electronic-sell-through and DVD rights in North America to “Humans,” AMC’s recently launched sci-fi series.

The series, which stars William Hurt and is created by Sam Vincent and Jonathan Brackley, is distributed by Endemol Shine International, produced by Kudos, and co-commissioned by the U.K.’s Channel 4 and AMC. It debuted on June 28 on AMC and is available online via platforms such as iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, Vudu, Google Play, Xbox Video, and Sony Entertainment Network.

Acorn, which is owned by Robert Johnson’s RLJ Entertainment, will release “Humans” on DVD in the first quarter of 2016.
