WME has signed writer, performer and producer Eliot Glazer, Variety has learned exclusively.
Glazer is known to TV fans for his work as a story editor on Darren Star’s TV Land series “Younger” and for his recurring role on “Broad City,” the Comedy Central show that stars his sister, Ilana Glazer, and Abbi Jacobson. He is also a creative consultant on that series.
On the digital side, Glazer contributed to Billy Eichner’s Funny or Die project “Billy on the Street” and consulted on the Hulu series “Difficult People,” which stars Eichner and Julie Klausner. He can also be seen on the Hulu series “Deadbeat.”
Glazer also writes, produces and stars in the Above Average sketch web series “Eliot’s Sketch Pad” and co-created and stars in the web series “It Gets Betterish.” He developed his other web series, “Haunting Renditions,” into a live show that found a solid New York audience and is about to open in L.A. In 2010 Random House published Glazer’s blog, “My Parents Were Awesome,” as a book of essays.
Glazer will continue to be managed by Principato Young.
