French designer Christian Audigier, best known for his clothing line Ed Hardy, has died. He was 57.
Audigier died in Los Angeles after a short battle with cancer, WWD reports.
Audigier had been diagnosed with cancer in January and suffered from the bone marrow illness myelodysplastic syndrome.
The designer also worked on lines for American Outfitters, Guess, Levi’s, Diesel, Bisou Bisou and XOXO. His most famous brands, Ed Hardy and Von Dutch, were popularized by celebrities like Madonna, the late Michael Jackson, Ashton Kutcher and Jon Gosselin.
