Elizabeth Jones, mother of Sarah Jones — the 27-year-old who died tragically on the set of the film “Midnight Rider” — has written an open letter to the Hollywood Reporter that shames the magazine for publishing her daughter’s grisly autopsy report on Wednesday.
“I am totally stunned, I am totally appalled,” she writes.
Jones was a camera assistant on the Gregg Allman biopic “Midnight Rider” when she was hit by a train during filming. As a result, the film’s director was recently sentenced to two years in jail followed by probation. Others were given probation.
