  1. Bob Sacramento says:

JENNIFER LAWRENCE Actually had a Higher % of Pay than ROBERT DOWNEY JR, The reason why J.LAW Made $52 Million and DOWNEY Made $80 Million is because J.LAW’S MOCKINGJAY Made Only $750 Million and DOWNEY’S AGE OF ULTRON Made $1.4 Billion, if MOCKINGJAY Would’ve made $1.4 Billion then J.LAW’S Pay Would’ve been MORE than the $80 Million DOWNEY got….

  2. Freddy says:

The most overrated actress of all time, ladies and gentlemen.

  3. Walter says:

I suspect this is just film income – not TV. But they count “endorsements”? Seems odd. I suspect Kaley Cuoco Sweeting would place 4th just off her TV salary alone last season. If you prorated the total deal it is $30 million/year, making her a solid 2nd without figuring any endorsement dollars.

  4. Stergios says:

It’s so fantastic to see that the highest paid actress in Hollywood right now is such a phenomenal young lady. Way to go, Jennifer!

  5. Donna says:

  6. This criminal, absurd amount paid to act has got to stop, get a handle on it, a flat fee per movie is good, nobody is worth this kind of money especially to just act! Lower ticket prices to go to the theater. Two years ago Jennifer Lawrence was pretty much a nobody, she was happy to get her next job acting. I remember this well and the millions given actresses and actors must be halted, it’s criminal and unnecessary!

    • S says:

Lol….Jennifer? Happy just to get a job 2 years ago??? She was nominated for her 1st Academy Award FOUR years ago and has been on a roll since. Don’t know what world you’ve been living in, but she definitely hasn’t struggled to get a job.

  7. ID says:

why is Jennifer Aniston on that list – her movies flops and according to the Sony hacked e-mails she doesn’t get paid squat because she’s a lousy actress and box office poison to boot. I guess having a pitbull PR comes in handy.

  8. Larry says:

Why is Julia Roberts being paid anything? She is truly worthless.

  9. crazyhens4u says:

How can you say Unbroken wasn’t very successful when it made $1614 million worldwide ($115 millon domestic) on a $65 million budget and made a profit? Doesn’t matter what the critics thought. People still payed money to see it. Besides that – Jolie had HUGE backend participation on Maleficent. She even got 15% percentage of all tie-in profits – and Disney sold a crap load of Maleficent-related products – and still are.

    • lola says:

It made 161 mi. If the producers get half of the 115 domestic boxoffice and 30% of the foreign one, they got 71 mi max from a film budget of 65. Not so good.

      • Ly says:

The film has a budget of 65 million, more 40 million came from Universal and 20 million of tax incentives of Australia, which agreed to help the film with the promise of being able to advertise the presence of Jolie in the country, then the 20 million paid for Australian government, does not count as Universal’s investment.

  10. crazyhens4u says:

This list is a joke. Why are they counting endorsement deals? That’s not ACTING income. They’re paid to shill products as themselves. And even so, how could Jennifer Aniston earn $16 million when that’s more than the 3 contracts she has pays her. She made 1 movie last year that cost $8 million to make, so she didn’t get a big salary on that. The other 2 movies she had out – she got paid for those in 2013 and they were included in Forbes’ 2014 survey.

As an added joke they have Angelina Jolie making $15 million when her back-end deal on Maleficent was 15% OF EVERYTHING – box office, dvd\vod\ppv\tv and product tie-ins. She got $20 million upfront that was counted last year. But there’s no way in heck that after all costs were covered her 15% only netted her $15 million. She has no endorsements, so there’s no income from that to consider.

Every year Forbes does this same thing – comes up with some cockamamie excuse to keep Jennifer Aniston on the list, preferrably in a higher position than Jolie (who doesn’t even work that often) when everybody and their dog read the Sony hacked emails and knows she’s not getting big paydays for movies anymore because she’s been in a long string of inexpensive flops – with another one coming out tomorrow – where her salary was minimal at best.

  11. Tackiegirl says:

Those not mentioned are very likely focusing on their personal lives, having children, enjoying their hard earned $$ and just didn’t make as many movies during this same time period. There has to be production time in there somewhere.

  12. Rachel says:

What a joke : No Kidman, No Watts, No Blanchett… those 3 are more talented than all these gals put together!!

  13. kat0711 says:

It’s obviously not ranked by skill level

  14. Jeff says:

I can name at least 5 of the actresses listed who are miserable with their lives. Just think of those who rarely smile when being interviewed, or who are boorish and obnoxious because their wealth defines them. When they throw out “Do you know who I am?” to a policeman or doorman, they prove the addage that money doesn’t buy happiness (or class).

  15. FD says:

Angelina Jolie had the greatest success of his career and also had a successful film as director and only won 15 million? strange that, while other actresses who had a minor commercial success, earned more than Jolie.
