Since announcing her candidacy, Hillary Clinton has trekked to Los Angeles three times to raise money, and she’s expected to return in late September.
Until then, the campaign is not letting any opportunity pass, setting a series of surrogate events. On Sept. 19, Steven and Dayna Bochco will host a $500-per-person reception for the Clinton campaign in Pacific Palisades, with Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) as the featured speaker.
On Tuesday, former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa hosted a $100-per-person fundraiser for Clinton, who was not present.
The Bochcos hosted Clinton at their home in May, in one of her first fundraisers in Los Angeles for her 2016 campaign.
Sources say Clinton is expected back in Los Angeles for at least one event on Sept. 27, with plans still in the works.
