Caitlyn Jenner has signed with CAA, which will work with Jenner to create a platform for her activism in bringing awareness to the transgender community.

CAA will rep her in its Speakers division, identifying opportunities for her to share her transgender experience and channel the attention from her transition into opportunities to address LGBT issues. In addition, the CAA Foundation will provide strategic counsel in helping Jenner spread her message.

Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, made her debut as a woman on the cover of Vanity Fair on Monday.

She has an eight-part TV series, “I Am Cait,” premiering on E! on July 26 at 9 p.m., which follows Jenner’s life after her transition from male to female.

It was also recently announced that Jenner, a gold medal Olympian, will be the recipient of the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at next month’s ESPYs.

I love the new look. I am so proud and happy that finally she can be herself.

  2. Matt says:

    That is a disgrace.

  3. Jamiekins says:

There is an issue here that is rarely addressed when dealing with all of this (transgender) talk. Most of the time before when people had the final surgery they committed suicide. Now it seems that, transgendered people forgo the final surgery and just stay in sexual limbo physically. How does this qualify as transgender ? If your going to switch sexuality then do it, if not what is the point of being half one sex and half the other ? And where does this leave these people. Technically they are not men or women. I wish these people would spend more time trying to figure out why they are not happy with their sexuality instead of just jumping into this 50/50 thing. And the numbers are so terrible for the people that choose to have the final surgery. Once the cameras and attention are gone what are they left with ? I am confused about what they are after here.
Hormones and breasts do not make a woman, if they still have male genitals. I am confused about what they are after and why do they change their name if they are still male ? I guess I just don’t understand why they are doing this and what they are after. Not only do I feel confused but am curious about why they are not confused. What is really happening here ?

If I was born Chinese, but got eye surgery because I felt white on the inside, is it acceptable that I call myself white because that is what I feel like on the inside? Sound crazy? What if identifying as white relieved my inner turmoil. Who is to say I am not white because that is what I feeeel.

  5. 1111 says:

I respected him as an athlete. I respected him as a transgender. As Caitlyn, she could have been a role model versus a spectacle sigining on to E TV–that is her choice and it is a real shame. Rather than be a spokesperson/role model to many young kids, she is a clown helping no one but herself. Standing up for no one but herself at 65 years old. It is a shame, she could have helped so many. Whatta loser!!

  6. Atomic Fury says:

Note to editor: It may be okay to refer to this person as “Caitlyn” but his real name is “Bruce” which is what his paychecks, Social Security record and drivers license will indicate. This is simply a drag-act and you people are trying to peddle it as something real. It is a delusion on Bruce Jenner’s part made worse by the fact that you are celebrating someone for their disguise after having been found to be responsible for the death of another motorist. You people are despicable in your haste to promote causes without thinking. Causes which are nothing more than allowance to move deviant behavior out of the nooks and crannies of life and forced upon the public who are then called phobic because they happen to have a normal attitude (read: an opinion the deviants don’t agree with).

    • David Lane says:

What about all these celebs that go by a different name/stage name other than their real birth name. Unless they’ve changed their name with the government, their birth name is still their birth name, but we still call them by their stage names. That is what they wish to be called. Why is Caitlyn any different? Why does she deserve any less respect? We should call people by what they wish to call themselves, or wish to be known by. Just trying to prove a point.

    • Natalia says:

thank you finally somebody else understands his name is BRUCE NOT “CAITLYN” and just because he is famous does not mean he can get away with anything

  7. Dolly says:

He’s NOT (nor is CAA Foundation, for that matter) doing this for the good of the LGBT community. They are doing it solely to line their already fat pockets. What hypocrisy. Jenner has an admitted conservative stance on social issues, and with the rarified air he breathes, has no idea how the great majority of the trans community LET ALONE the rest of the LGBT community lives. Ugh.

  8. Jeff says:

I’m confused. Didn’t he kill a woman in an accident he admitted he played a role in causing on the PCH? Is he not being prosecuted for that?

  9. Paramount Employee says:

She should appear in the next installment of Austin Powers so we can hear his tagline: THAT’S A MAN, BABY!
