Variety Teams With London’s Sanctum Soho Hotel to Offer Showbiz Venue

LONDON — Variety has teamed up with London’s Sanctum Soho Hotel to provide a venue for a series of exclusive events, including cast-hosted screenings of awards-nominated films, stand-up comedy shows, Q&As and other show-biz gatherings.

Additionally, the Variety Lounge on the ground floor of the hotel creates a new hub for London’s media and creative community, providing guests with a relaxed space in which to meet and network. The lounge has a full bar and gourmet restaurant. Variety has curated a collection of iconic images for the lounge, depicting legends from the stage and screen, conjuring up the glamour of Hollywood.

The screening room at Sanctum Soho, renamed the Variety Screening Room, will be available for screenings and events all year round, and Variety will host its Screening Series throughout awards season, featuring award-contending movies and TV shows.

On Wednesday, Variety and Sanctum Soho came together to host an informal cocktail party, sponsored by Moet & Chandon, to launch the new partnership with friends from the London-based show-biz community.
