Bookings & Signings: Agencies APA, WPA, Dattner Dispoto Place Clients on Projects


APA has booked producer Michael Sledd (“Dallas Buyers Club”) on John Lee Hancock’s “The Founder”; production designer Cat Smith (“Transparent”) on FX’s “Better Things” pilot; and editors Christian Wagner (“Furious 7”) on David Green’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2,” Michelle Tesoro (“Flesh and Bone”) on Ric Waugh’s “Shot Caller” and Wayne Wahrman (“Winter’s Tale”) on Akiva Goldsman’s “Stephanie.”

WPA has booked d.p.’s Paul Maibaum (“Sons on Anarchy”) on ABC’s untitled Johnny Knoxville TV movie and Mattias Troelstrup (“Europamestrene”) on Jason Zada’s “The Forest”; and production designer Jonathan Carlson (“Justified”) on WGN America’s “Outsiders.”

Dattner Dispoto’s has booked cinematographers Trevor Forrest (“Deadbeat”) on HBO’s “The Leisure Class,” Brad Lipson (“The Wedding Ringer”) on Fox pilot “Detour,” Stephen St. John (“Killing Kennedy”) on PBS’ “Mercy Street” and Jon Joffin (TV series “Rush”) on Hallmark’s “Radio Hype.”

Dattner Dispoto’s recent d.p. signings include Peter Wunstorf (“Midnight Sun”), Thomas Scott Stanton (“Take Me to the River”), Kolja Brandt (“Hector and the Search for Happiness”) and Bryan Newman (commercials). Agency has also signed production designers Dara Wishingrad (“Advantageous”) and Mikael Varhelyi (commercials); and editor Tad Dennis (“Parenthood,” pictured above).

On the agency front, Sandra Marsh & Associates has named three new partners: veteran agents Rocco Hindman and Michael Vasquez, together with former producer-turned-agent June Dowad. All have been promoted to management roles.
