U.K.'s 'Sex Box' TV Series Coming

WE TV has ordered a one-hour pilot based on the U.K. relationship talk show “Sex Box.”

Produced by Relativity Television, “Sex Box” follows real couples who enter a soundproof box to have sex and, upon exiting, address their issues onstage and talk candidly to a panel of sex experts. In the U.K., that panel included Dan Savage, who pens the popular “Savage Love” relationship column for Seattle alt weekly the Stranger; as well as British journalist Mariella Frostrup; sex body language and relationship expert Tracey Cox; and psychotherapist, broadcaster and author Phillip Hodson.

“’Sex Box’ is an intriguing and original concept from a top production partner and we’re very excited about its potential, which has already been clearly demonstrated overseas — where it’s a hit,” said WE TV president Marc Juris.

The pilot will be joining WE TV’s list of unscripted originals that are resonating with viewers such as “SWV Reunited” and “Mary Mary.”

This is quite possibly, the WORST idea for a TV show I have ever heard, and I hear about 500 pitches a year. Unreal.

  2. As much as Dan Savage has helped people, he needs to be spoofed from time to time. Funny … http://dandygoat.com/my-hot-3-month-affair-with-joaquin-phoenix-is-destroying-my-life

I DON’T THINKS! WE DON’T NEED MORE B.S. ON HERE OR ON TV.
