Watch: First Trailer for Duplass Brothers’ HBO Comedy ‘Togetherness’

If the first trailer for the new HBO comedy “Togetherness” is any reflection of the show at large, be prepared for some hilariously awkward moments. We wouldn’t expect anything less from filmmaking brothers Mark and Jay Duplass.

The trailer for the nontraditional relationship comedy finds Mark Duplass’ character catching his wife, Michelle, played by Melanie Lynskey, indulging in “Fifty Shades of Grey.”

The upcoming show, which follows a dysfunctional Los Angeles couple with kids, marks the Duplass brothers’ first stab at a TV series. Things take a turn for the worse in “Togetherness” when Michelle’s sister (played by Amanda Peet) and Brett’s friend (Steve Zissis) move into their already cramped house.

The eight-episode-long first season premieres on Jan. 11.

  1. Duplass Brothers got a winner on their hand and I can’t wait to see how their story will developed over the 8 episode. I hope that there will be second season.
