“This season the battle for humanity, for hope, for the planet, will leave Earth behind,” the trailer warns as the cast, including series star Noah Wyle, battles supernatural forces and a new kind of army.
Wyle leads the charge as Tom Mason, a college professor who has become a resistance leader after a massive invasion by the Espheni alien race.
This season, the Mason family and the remaining 2nd Mass find themselves under attack by a new Espheni war machine and a new, deadly creation.
The series also stars Moon Bloodgood, Will Patton, Colin Cunningham, Drew Roy, Connor Jessup, Maxim Knight, Sarah Carter, Seychelle Gabriel, Mpho Koaho and Doug Jones. “Harry Potter” actress Scarlett Byrne has joined as a series regular for season four and Oscar winner Mira Sorvino and Treva Etienne are slated to guest-star, along with the returning Robert Sean Leonard.
