Univision News said it had expanded its efforts to cover the world of health and wellness for Hispanic viewers.
The company said it launched Univision Salud – http://www.salud.univision.com – in June to provides Hispanics with practical information on topics ranging from weight control, illnesses and conditions, medications and health insurance to natural medicine, nutrition, sexuality, and the latest medical advances.
Univision News’ 30-minute weekly health magazine show “Cita con tu salud” (“Appointment With Your Health”) will begin its second season on the Univision Network on July 20. Hosted by Univision News anchor Pamela Silva Conde and Univision’s chief medical correspondent Dr. Juan Rivera, the series features conversations with medical specialists, correspondents, preventive health experts and people with health issues.
