Shepherd is a great writer — his last show, “Save Me,” was bungled by NBC, but this could be a sleeper hit. And love that Weinstock, a great guy and great producer, is taking over the town. Strong team here, with the supersmart Winant. It’s rare to not feel snarky about guys who are landing big projects; actually hoping for the best on this one.
