TNT Buys Rerun Rights to NBC’s ‘Grimm’

TNT has picked up off-network rights to NBC’s dark fantasy drama “Grimm” from Universal TV.

The Turner cabler will begin airing episodes of the show’s first three seasons early next year. Episodes from season four, which bows Oct. 24 on NBC, will head to Turner in September 2015.

“Grimm” has been a quiet workhorse for NBC on Friday nights. Stephen Carpenter, David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf are co-creators for Sean Hayes’ Hazy Mills banner. Greenwalt, Kouf, Hayes and Hazy Mills’ Todd Milliner exec produce with Norberto Barba.

The show’s off-network pricetag was probably dampened a bit by the SVOD pact NBCU inked last year with Amazon Prime.
