Former “The Daily Show” executive producer Rory Albanese has been tapped as an executive producer of “The Daily Show” spin-off “The Minority Report with Larry Wilmore,” Comedy Central announced Wednesday.

Albanese had previously worked on “The Daily Show” for 14 years in various positions, ending his four-year tenure as executive producer in 2013.

Former “The Daily Show” correspondent Larry Wilmore’s new show, planned to take over the spot left behind when “The Colbert Report” ends, will provide a “diverse panel of voices currently underrepresented in comedy and television.”

Albanese is repped by CAA, Matt Ochacher at NWE and Jon Moonves.

“The Minority Report with Larry Wilmore” is scheduled to premiere in January.
