TBS has given a series pickup to comedy “Angie Tribeca’ starring Rashida Jones from Steve Carell’s Carousel TV banner.

Comedy cabler has also given series greenlights to “Buzzy’s,” from David Kohan and Max Mutchnick, and “Your Family Or Mine,” starring Kyle Howard, Kat Foster and Richard Dreyfuss.

Carell and his wife Nancy wrote the pilot for “Tribeca,” the single-cam half-hour that is a satire of police procedural shows, with Jones (pictured) playing an LAPD officer.

TBS has ordered 10 episodes of “Tribeca,” which is exec produced by the Carells, Thom Hinkle and Campbell Smith. Jere Burns, Deon Cole and Andree Vermeulen also star.

“Buzzy’s” revolves around a group of high school friends who work at a hair salon in Massachusetts. Kohan and Mutchnick exec produce for Warner Horizon TV. Ashley Tisdale, George Wendt and Lauren Lapkus star.

“Your Family Or Mine” is based on a Keshet format about a young couple who struggle to deal with their in-laws. Greg Malins wrote the pilot and exec produces with Jamie Tarses.

I don’t see the attraction from “Your Family Or Mine”. The episodes appear to pivot from one or two running jokes, while the show’s writers must presume that their characters are likeable since none have been well explained. The dialogue just seems so annoying. Good luck!
