Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) is returning to Pearson Specter on this week’s “Suits,” but will his homecoming change the dynamic between the prodigal son and his stubborn mentor, Harvey (Gabriel Macht)?

If Variety‘s exclusive preview of Wednesday’s episode is any indication, it appears that the law firm’s resident tiger may be capable of changing his stripes after all.

On the Aug. 6 episode, titled “Exposure,” Jessica (Gina Torres) and Harvey try to outmaneuver the relentless Sean Cahill (guest star Neal McDonough), as he goes after the firm’s files on the Gillis Industries takeover. Meanwhile Louis (Rick Hoffman) struggles to hide the illicit deal he made to win that fight; evidence of which will bury the firm. And Mike acclimates to his new situation, while reeling from some troubling news.

“Suits” airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on USA Network.

Are you relieved to see Mike back at Pearson Specter, or should he have remained independent a little longer? Weigh in below.

What was the name of the band and closing tune?

He should have taken that MillionDollar signing bonus.

  3. I wish Mike stayed away from Law (with the fake degree story that’s circling around :/). While he was an investment banker he was free to show who he is capable of and it was good to see him battling against Harvey. It was nice to see both of them playing a competitive sport.

I enjoyed the sparing between Mike and Harvey. I wish it could have lasted longer.

I love this show…glad he’s back and hope he can resolve his differences with everyone…maybe even win over Jessica by saving the day.
