The ten-episode second season of David S. Goyer’s “Da Vinci’s Demons” will debut on March 22. The show, which follows Leonardo da Vinci as a youth during the Renaissance, adopts a darker tone this season as da Vinci (Tom Riley) teams up the ruthless Count Girolamo Riario (Blake Ritson).
While “Da Vinci has the keys to an undiscovered land, which will unlock a treasure worth a thousand cities,” the Michael Bay exec-produced pirate drama “Black Sails” follows Captain Flint (Toby Stephens), who seeks to steal an unfathomable fortune capable of altering their entire world. The new series premieres on Jan. 25.
Starz renewed “Da Vinci’s Demons” following its record-setting weekend debut back in April and ordered a second season of “Black Sails” before a single episode aired on TV.
