My best and warmest wishes to and for Seth Meyers…He was a welcome and great part of SNL…
I just wish we could see more of some of the past crew/team show up once in a s while on SNL,
For those still with us, this was their “starting gate” and I am sure that live-ensemble sateric
comedy is and always be in their blood…How about some type of comedy ensemble show
with past members of SNL/SCTV…they all know each other…NBC is going for a demographic audience
way below the bar of appreciation…I realize that they are looking at the future…that is cool and ok…
but the intended “capture” of such a much younger demographic in such a major way is cheap and stupid…the audience that they are “going after” will “move on” just as quickly with equal and reciprocal fickleness as they were “ushered” and sought after…just for ratings…..it’sl about quality, timing,… it’s just not about the bow and wrapping paper.., the bottom line is, what’s inside…and oh, one more thing…is it the same idiot, usually but not always a woman, on all the talk shows who obsessively feels the need to scream or howl after each joke, or comment? does she think that’s cool??? is she crying out for attention, help, medication..did she miss her bus back to the facility???
(sometimes even in the audience of an award show, no less!)…can the networks (or local authorities?) give permission to gag or muffle this idiot, or others like her????
