Last week, fans found out that “American Horror Story’s” fourth season would be set at a carnival, but now they have an official subtitle to attribute to that theme: “Freak Show.”
Creator Ryan Murphy broke the news Monday via Twitter with a picture of the title in a fun font:
According to Entertainment Weekly, this season will be set in 1950s Jupiter, Florida. Jessica Lange will return to play a German expat running one of nation’s last freak shows.
Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett and Frances Conroy are among the series regulars who will step back into the “American Horror Story” universe to play Lange’s freak show performers. Denis O’Hare and Emma Roberts are also reportedly in talks to return.
