“Do you have it all under control, Raymond?”
Judging by the second season trailer for Showtime’s “Ray Donovan,” not really.
The series seemingly picks up some time after last year, with Jon Voight’s Mickey Donovan in a tropical abyss and unaware that the FBI might have some questions for him in regards to the first season finale’s shootout that left James Woods’ Whitey Bulger-like Boston mob kingpin Patrick ‘Sully’ Sullivan bullet ridden. Liev Schreiber’s titular Hollywood fixer must take care of this while he also deals with his declining family life.
The new trailer also teases new characters like those played by Hank Azaria and “The Wire’s” Wendell Pierce.
Season two of “Ray Donovan” premieres at 9 p.m. on July 13.
