'Phineas and Ferb' Sets 'Lost'-Themed Episode

Is “Phineas and Ferb” about to tangle with the Dharma Initiative? Disney XD’s hit toon series will deliver a “Lost”-themed episode on Sept. 29 with a story by “Lost” co-creator Damon Lindelof and a key character voiced by series alum Terry O’Quinn.

The episode, “Lost in Danville,” also features Jane Kaczmarek and Rob Morrow in guest voice roles. Story revolves around a mysterious locked capsule that falls into Phineas and Ferb’s backyard and unleashes something that they can’t control.

The “Phineas and Ferb” episode will air 10 years almost to the day after the island mystery drama premiered on ABC.

“Phineas and Ferb” previously produced a “Star Wars”-themed episode.
