Watch the First Promo for NBC’s ‘Peter Pan Live!’

NBC has debuted the first promo for its production of “Peter Pan Live!” which will air Dec. 4.

Since the musical won’t be pre-recorded when it hits our screens, the trailer features stars Allison Williams and Christopher Walken behind the scenes at the promotional photo shoot, where there was evidently a ready supply of wind and whimsy.

Other cast members include Christian Borle as Mr. Darling and Smee, Kelli O’Hara portraying Mrs. Darling, Taylor Louderman playing Wendy, Alanna Saunders appearing as Tiger Lily, Jake Lucas as John Darling, John Allyn as Michael Darling and Caitlin Houlahan as Jane.

The team behind last year’s “The Sound of Music Live!” are returning to helm the special, with Craig Zadan and Neil Meron exec producing, and Rob Ashford directing.

On Thursday, Williams joined two other actresses who have played the role of Peter Pan over the years, Sandy Duncan and Cathy Rigby McCoy, for a “Today” interview. When asked if they had any advice for Williams before she hits the screen, Duncan said, “The only advice — cause you don’t give somebody advice, she’s got her way of doing it, and she’s smart and she’s surrounded by smart people — we told her to go do it in a theatre somewhere for a month, just for her own thrill of having done the role, and do it with an audience with kids.”
