Peaches Geldof Dead: TV Personality And

Writer and TV presenter Peaches Geldof died Monday afternoon from unknown causes. She was 25.

Peaches Geldof was the second daughter of musician Bob Geldof and Paula Yates. Police, who found her in her Kent apartment, are treating her death as “unexplained and sudden.”

Geldof began her media career at the age of 15 when she wrote as a guest columnist for Elle magazine. She then left home at 16 in order to to contribute to the Telegraph and the Guardian, as well as appear on TV shows such as ITV2’s “OMG! with Peaches Geldof.”

She also worked as a model, most recently appearing at a launch for Tesco’s F&F clothing range in London.

She was married to musician Thomas Cohen, with whom she had two sons, Astala and Phaedra.

    Had it not been from the notoriety value parents, Peaches Geldof would never had a career. This is tragic news, but hardly surprising.

  2. Is it possible that Peaches Geldof lived two very distinct lives. One for the public, feeding off her family’s glam and notoriety and one for herself where she reeled from it in self sabotage which included extreme dieting and a predilection towards anorexia?

    Was this years in the making or just a final decision that she could not bear it all anymore, the facade, the heart ache and the dichotomy she had become….and from where she had risen as she increasingly chose to abstain from even eating…?

    Fame looks great, but comes with bigger – thicker strings than us normal bods. Must be hard to keep em all from unravelling. Thoughts wiv u n family Bob ….
