‘Orphan Black’ Star Could Receive Award Created by Fans

Tatiana Maslany Orphan Black Emmys

Who needs the Television Academy or the Hollywood Foreign Press Association when you can have fans nominate you for awards?

Tatiana Maslany, star of the BBC America show “Orphan Black,” has  lost out on an Emmy and a Golden Globe and her fans have had enough. In fact, one specific fan named Sarah Evans went so far as to create the freshman Tatiana Maslany Clone Club Award.

Evans started an Indiegogo page to fund a custom award to be given solely to Maslany—or anyone who donates more than $500, who will then also get a replica.

The Indiegogo deadline for the Maslany Award is March 14. So far it has raised $736 of its $2000 goal.
