NBC Orders Relationship Comedy from ‘Happy Endings’ Creator

NBC has given a series order to “Marry Me,” the relationship comedy penned by David Caspe (“Happy Endings”) and directed by Seth Gordon (“The Goldbergs”).

The project stars Casey Wilson (“Happy Endings”) and Ken Marino (“Veronica Mars,” “Eastbound & Down”) as a couple in a long-term relationship. He’s all set to pop the question after a romantic vacation — until she lets loose on him for not proposing on their trip.

The cast also includes Sarah Wright, John Gemberling, Tymberlee Hill and Tim Meadows.

Caspe and Gordon are exec producing with Jamie Tarses (“Men at Work”). “Marry Me” is a production of Sony Pictures Television and FanFare Productions.

Please tell me what happened to Happy Endings??
A true comedy with Damon Wayans Jr. I knew I would laugh and laugh!! Hysterical 😩😩😭

    • Jacques Strappe says:

It was THE best comedy on television in a very long time. Quality gets punished once again. I miss my weekly Jane and Brad fix. Wayans is absolutely wasted on New Girl
