NBC Orders Marry Me

NBC is falling in love with “Marry Me.”

The network has ordered five additional episodes of the freshman comedy, bringing the total order to 18 episodes.

“Marry Me” is averaging a 2.0 rating/6 share in adults 18-49 and 6.5 million viewers overall through the season’s first six weeks, making it the #2 new broadcast comedy in 18-49 so far this season behind ABC’s “Black-ish.”  Of NBC’s four comedies this fall (two on Tuesday and two on Thursday), “Marry Me” is faring the best.

The Sony Pictures TV romcom, which stars Ken Marino and Casey Wilson, is exec produced by David Caspe, Seth Gordon, Jamie Tarses, Moses Port and David Guarascio.

    OK. so i tried to give Marry Me another chance and…..no way…It is NOT funny and I will not watch.

    This show is absolutely terrible and just plain not funny. The support cast especially the BFF’s are either really bad actors or the writing is terrible — or perhaps both. NBC could put up a test screen from now until May and it would get higher ratings — Cancelled BEFORE May PLEASE!!!!

    Tried to watch this show and it came across as really silly. Will not watch again because it’s not funny or entertaining.

  6. I am glad that NBC got a winner on it hand. I hope that the series will be renewal for the second season. I thought that Marry Me wouldn’t make it into the 2015.

  8. I’m not that surprise, is their highest rated sitcom. (#2 new broadcast comedy in 18-49 so far).
    But either way, it’s going to be cancelled in may.

      Such a hater sassy. Marry me should not and will not be canceled. Hopefully your elderly parents are on their way up yo tuck you in. 37 is NOT too old to shack up with mom and dad.
