MTV has ordered two new unscripted series, including a docu-style look at the elaborate performance videos crafted by YouTube star Todrick Hall.

“Todrick” revolves around the lives of Hall (pictured) and the troupe that helps him choreograph and stage his weekly musical efforts. “Broke A$$ Game Show” is a man-on-the-street format in which hosts David Magidoff and Derek Gaines challenge New Yorkers to play games and participate in other stunts to win cash prizes.

Both half-hour series have eight-episode orders and are targeted for debut next year.

“Broke A$$ Game Show” and “Todrick” have only one thing in common – they each have incredibly fresh and fun creative forces behind them,” said MTV programming prexy Susanne Daniels. “We love the hilariously imaginative, unusual games in “Broke A$$” and we’re excited to bring Todrick’s tenacious energy and multi-dimensional talent to MTV for his first-ever series.”

“Todrick” hails from Brian Graden Media. Graden, a former MTV and VH1 chief, exec produces with Danny Salles, Lois Curren and Gaurav Misra as well as Hall, Scooter Braun and Danny Rose.

“Broke A$$” is produced by Core Media Group’s B-17 Entertainment. Rhett Bachner and Brien Meagher are exec producers.
