Reality competition producer Michael Dietz is ready to play ball with High Noon Entertainment, signing with the company on a first-look production deal for his Lucky Butterfly shingle.
This marks the first co–production deal for High Noon, which was acquired by ITV Studios last year.
Dietz and High Noon recently worked together on the format for “The Line,” which is in development at GSN. Dietz’s producing credits also include NBC’s “Celebrity Apprentice” and “Stars Earn Stripes,” truTV’s “Killer Karaoke,” Travel Channel’s “Scream if You Know the Answer,” and CBS’ “Big Brother.”
“Michael is one of the best game and competition format creators in the business,” said Jim Berger, CEO of High Noon Entertainment. “We take great pride in our diverse slate of genres ranging from survival to dating to docu to lifestyle. We intend to make a bigger splash in the game space and Michael provides the creative muscle to get us to that goal.”
