Malcolm Gladwell’s ‘The Cure’ Gets Pilot Order at Fox

Malcolm Gladwell The Cure Pilot

“The Cure,” a new medical thriller from Malcolm Gladwell (“The Missionary”), has received a put pilot order from Fox.

The show follows a young, impulsive African-American neurologist who decides to take the law into her own hands when it comes to tackling a deadly disease.

Along with Gladwell, “The Cure” also hails from from Glenn Gordon Caron (“Medium”), Brian Grazer and Francie Calfo (“Gang Related”), and will be produced by Imagine Television in association with Twentieth Century Fox Television.

Project marks a big commitment from the network. Gladwell is among the most prominent contempo non-fiction authors who has penned a string of best-sellers including “The Tipping Point,” “Outliers” and “Blink.”
