Shortly after it was announced at Comic-Con that “Weeds” alum Mary-Louise Parker will join “The Blacklist” season two in a recurring role, it’s been revealed that “Breaking Bad” actress Krysten Ritter is also adding her name to the list.
Ritter will guest star in the Sept. 22 premiere of the NBC drama currently filming in New York, Variety has confirmed. She will play Rowan Mills, a troubled analyst at a data security firm.
She’s currently booked to appear only in the opener. Along with playing Jesse Pinkman’s girlfriend Jane in season two of “Breaking Bad,” she’s known for starring in comedy “Don’t Trust the B– in Apartment 23,” which was canceled by ABC after its first season.
Ritter’s also been cast to star in NBC pilot “Mission Control” from executive producers Adam McKay and Will Ferrell.
“The Blacklist” stars James Spader as former government agent Raymond Reddington. TVFanatic.com first reported news of the casting.
