Kevin Frazier, Louis Aguirre Join ‘Entertainment Tonight,’ ‘Insider’ as Co-Hosts

Entertainment journalists Kevin Frazier and Louis Aguirre will be taking up new posts in September, when Frazier joins “Entertainment Tonight” and Aguire takes his co-anchor seat on “The Insider.”

Frazier joins “Entertainment Tonight” from “The Insider,” where he was co-anchor and managing editor of the newsmagazine after a previous run on “Entertainment Tonight” as a correspondent and weekend anchor.  Frazier has also served as host for “Game Changers with Kevin Frazier,” highlighting professional athletes using their public presence to make a difference, and has been lead anchor for “College Football” on FX and Fox Sports Net.

Aguirre arrives at “Insider” after a long run at Fox affiliate WSVN in Miami, where he has been an entertainment reporter and co-anchor of “Deco Drive” since 2003.  Aguirre’s resume includes a career start at Telemundo and ABC affiliate WPLG in South Florida, followed by time as a correspondent for “Extra,” “A Current Affair” and as a co-host for “Fox and Friends” prior to his “Deco Drive” run.

“Kevin lives and breathes entertainment news; he is the ultimate professional and has a phenomenal relationship with Nancy,” said Brad Bessey, executive producer of “Entertainment Tonight” and “The Insider.” “When searching for a new co-anchor, we realized Kev, who gives 110% everyday, is the perfect fit and are thrilled to welcome him home. And, we’re just as excited to have Louis join ‘The Insider.’ He is a dynamic broadcaster with a strong point of view, which will be key as he and Thea offer perspective on the hottest trending entertainment news and pop culture topics of the day.”

“With Nancy and Kevin and Thea and Louis and the rest of our ensemble we have two impressive teams with decades of entertainment news experience combined to lead ‘ET’ and ‘The Insider’ into the future,” said Hilary Esttey McLoughlin, president of creative affairs for CBS Television Distribution. “Both of these shows will continue to bring a distinctive point of view to the pop culture stories that viewers are talking about each day. We can’t wait for viewers to tune in and see the results this fall.”

Both programs are produced and distributed by CBS Television Distribution. Bessey serves as executive producer with Linda Fuller on “Entertainment Tonight” and with Monique Chenault on “The Insider.”

  1. Hey!

I’ve met a friend of mine yesterday and he told something really important, you’ll be surprised! Read more about it here

    Yours sincerely, cyrilaguzman

  2. Evelyn says:

Lately (July 2015) Louis Aguirre has been given little time on The Insider. Debbie Ma….polus is given everything to say (irritating woman). What gives? Let’s give Louis, who represents Latinos well, more time. He’s an amazing host.

  4. Barrycollins says:

Kevin to happy overly sincere way to hyped up surly you know this already also to opinionated show hard to
    Watch now

  5. Russell Findley says:

My wife & me both love ET , but lately all it seems to cover is Kim & Kanya ( which are both a big waste ). Now the child abuse from the Football player, he went over boardin spanking his son, but all the people that are speaking out, have they ever raised children ? Look at our prisons from lack of no discipline , so if ever one is allowed to run wild , the prisons will be more crowded then they are now. Kevin Frazier is very good on ET & The Talk.

  6. Albany says:

I used to love ET . I was a very avid viewer, but it started to go down the sewer when they replaced Mary Hart with Nancy O’Dell.
Now it is even worse with this Kevin Frazier. He is a moron and shouldn’t be there. For some reason, he irritates me. Don’t count on me to watch this show , ever again.

  7. R. Barren an says:

Kevin Frazier is terrible. He was terrible on OMG Insider. All this stupid chitchat. Do a story once in awhile. I don’t tune in for his opinions…just introduce the segments. Also, the attempt to reinvent the ET set again only shows that the show is in trouble. Go back to the old ways….host introduces segment. Kevin will need to keep his mouth shut

  8. Disturbed Viewer says:

I’m sorry – but I watched Louis’ first show and it was one of the slimiest and sleaziest hosts I’ve ever watched. In that half hour, the number of sexist and creeper comments was just ridiculous. Kevin was all class and respectful, and Louis has in one show managed to turn off every single female viewer.

  9. Stephenie says:

I am so tired of all of those calling themselves transgender getting all of the media attention. OK, they have a fetish for becoming and wearing women’s clothing. Their physical health is not threatened due to the natural birth affliction of those of us who are born as Transsexuals and Intersexed individuals, yet the media either ignores us and our needs for medical related expenses and corrective surgeries. You call the transgender people brave individuals as they parade themselves wearing makeup, but still looking like male cross dressers, while at the same time never giving those of us with actual precise medical birth afflictions any attention and often misidentify us as being transgender if we get attacked or beaten by people just thinking we are just another transgender person. We live with our medically identified precise Transsexual birth afflictions 24-7, facing many fears from being misrepresented and incorrectly identified. Ours is not a fetish that we can put away when the weekend is over. We care about how we look. How about giving us (Transsexuals) and our real medical needs some of that media coverage. Hugs

  10. Rose says:

ET has definitely lost it’s charm!

  11. dwood says:

Sounds like great changes. Now they need to get Brooke Anderson off the show.
What a drama queen and time on screen hog.
She goes on and on just to get more screen! !

  12. linda says:

I just adore Kevin Fraizer. Glad for the new change. I enjoy Entertainment better then Insider.

  13. globalgoldira says:

OMG I can’t believe they are making such a deal over his departing because Entertainment Tonight is filmed in the same building and studio as The Insider, so one is filmed in a.m. and ET is later on. It’s so stupid how he’s going to not even have to change parking spaces, and it’s filmed right where they used to film Gilligan’s Island!

  14. Sandy says:

I’m extremely disappointed Kevin Fraxier is replacing Rob. There is no comparison, and for some reson Kevin irritates me. I will no longer watch ET when he comes on board. You must have had better choices than choosing KF?

  15. I cant stand Kevin Frasier, he’s an ass….he nasty sideways comments about women he personally does not find attractive. Like Lena Dunham, Sometimes I change the channel so I don’t have to here it. GLAD HE IS GONE!

  16. Pat Mac says:

Congratulations Louis, I am so happy for you. I will be watching you every night.

  17. Matthew G. says:

The show had its days. Same stories, same script, and now regurgitated talent. Didn’t execs bring in brad to make changes?

  18. Lady J says:

True. Bessey has never had an original idea. Another year of Kardashians and NCIS. Moving on to Access.

  19. Heidi says:

I’m exhausted by their lack of originality. Take a chance and hire someone new, poor Kevin ping pongs between both shows to fix them. Borrriinng.

  20. Debra says:

They sure move people around on Entertainment Tonight. Some of the people that are brought on don’t even have a background in entertainment. Kevin Frazier does, but some of the others have been a little different.
