In his new role, Blecher will remain VP of programming and development for Dick Clark Prods. but also manage programming and development for Keshet DCP, which was forged last year. Keshet DCP’s U.S. programming lineup includes ABC’s reality singing competition “Rising Star” and Fox’s game show “Boom.”
Israel-born Blecher joined DCP in 2005 and has served various roles in his nine-year tenure. In his new capacity, he will report jointly to Mark Bracco, EVP of Programming and Development for DCP and Alon Shtruzman, CEO of Keshet International.
“Assaf played a key role in the formation of Keshet DCP and will be instrumental in our strategies to expand our programming footprint domestically and internationally with the most compelling slate of unscripted programming possible,” said Bracco.
