Jonah Hill, Drake to Host ‘SNL’ in January

Saturday Night Live” is kicking off 2014 with new shows beginning Jan. 18.

As previously announced by the Peacock, Drake will have double-duty during the Jan. 18 broadcast of the latenight program, serving as both host and musical guest. While Drake has performed on “SNL” before, this will be his first time hosting the live show.

On Jan. 25, Jonah Hill will return to “SNL” for the third time as host while his latest pic, “The Wolf of Wall Street,” heads deep into Oscar season. Hill will be joined by musical guest Bastille.

“Saturday Night Live” is produced in association with Broadway Video. The creator and executive producer is Lorne Michaels.

    I’m getting a little tired of SNL picking nothing but guys to host their show. In fact, they haven’t had one single female guest host since Kerry Washington back in November, although Lady Gaga did host and perform on SNL the following weeks.

    You’d think the obvious choice for a female guest would be Kat Dennings, the star of Two Broke Girls. She recently co-starred in Thor 2: The Dark World and she also hosted the People’s Choice Awards with her co-star Beth Behrs.

    I kind of think it’s her turn to be SNL’s next guest host, and I hope they pick her next, either on Feb. 8th or possibly in March.
