‘HitRecord on TV’ Renewed by Pivot Before Series Premiere

'HitRecord on TV' Renewed Pivot Before

Pivot has given a serious vote of confidence to Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s “HitRecord on TV,” handing the show a season two greenlight a week before the program’s series premiere.

One of Pivot’s most anticipated launches, “HitRecord on TV” is a variety series featuring shorts, videos, songs and other artistic content culled from Gordon-Levitt’s open-collaborative shingle and online community, hitRECord.

Pivot leaked the first episode of “HitRecord on TV” on YouTube, iTunes and other digital platforms ahead of the series debut; first seg has already garnered over half a million views on YouTube alone.

“HitRecord on TV” will officially premiere on Pivot on Jan. 18. Show is executive produced by Gordon-Levitt, Jared Geller, Brian Graden, Jeff Skoll, Belisa Balaban and Evan Shapiro.

It’s a cable channel www. pivot. tv will give you a place to search for it in your area.

  4. John Blake says:

It would be helpful if you would quickly explain what is Pivot? Cable channel, website, a block of programming on an established network?

    • Kate says:

Pivot is a brand new cable channel. Go to http://find.pivot.tv to find out what your local channel is. It will also be available on Amazon and iTunes, but personally I’d support Pivot if possible, because they took a chance on this show and again with a second season.

Congratulations to HitRecord and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. I saw the first episode and think it’s fantastic–creative, socially positive, and a potential game changer.
