‘Gotham’ Releases First Cast Photo

Gotham Cast

Following its series order, Fox has released the first official “Gotham” cast photo.

Star Ben McKenzie, who plays a young Jim Gordon — the city’s future police commissioner — in the Batman-universe prequel, tweeted the pic on Friday. Gary Oldman depicted an older Gordon in Christopher Nolan’s “Dark Knight” trilogy.

His character is just learning the ropes and coming face-to-face with Gotham’s infamous villains when he’s assigned a case that will change his life: the murder of Bruce Wayne’s parents.

The WBTV-produced series co-stars Donal Logue, Jada Pinkett Smith, David Mazouz and Camren Bicondova,

Fox picked up the drama for at least 13 episodes for the 2014-15 season. It will premiere this fall.

The network released the first “Gotham” trailer after announcing the series order on Monday.

  1. Dead In Hell says:

Fox picked up the drama for at least 13 episodes for the 2014-15 season. It will premiere this fall, with episodes aired out of order, a shifting timeslot, and poor promotion. It will be cancelled after its first season in order to make more room for reality TV.
