‘Game of Thrones’ Actors Score Raises, Extend Contracts Through Season 7

'Game of Thrones' Finale Caps Season

Key “Game of Thrones” actors have commanded big raises in contract renegotiations that extend their deals through a seventh season of the hit HBO drama.

“Thrones” is in the midst of filming its fifth season, to bow in the spring. The actors’ deals previously ran through the show’s sixth season. According to Deadline, stars Peter Dinklage, Kit Harington, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau will reach the $300,000 per episode range for the coming seasons.

With “Thrones” emerging as the most-watched show in HBO’s history, it’s a safe bet that “Thrones” will be on the air through at least seven seasons. HBO gave “Thrones” a two-season renewal earlier this year.

Other members of the large ensemble are also said to have extended through season seven.

HBO declined to comment.
