Former Fox TV chief hints she's moving onto new opportunity

Gail Berman is leaving the production company she founded in 2007.

The former Fox Broadcasting Co. chief issued a statement Wednesday saying she is exiting BermanBraun, which she started seven years ago with partner Lloyd Braun, to jump on a new undisclosed job opportunity.

“It has been my pleasure to work alongside Lloyd and our incredibly talented team at BermanBraun and I wish them continued success going forward,” said Berman in a statement. “There are several unique opportunities I am considering and intend to make an announcement about my decision very soon.”

Braun will continue to the run company himself having acquired Berman’s share of the firm. The company will change its name sometime in the future.

BermanBraun has produces for a variety of clients in TV, digital and film. Credits include Showtime series “Polyamory” and celebrity gossip website Wonderwall.

In addition to running Fox from 2000-2005, Berman was also president of Paramount Pictures and Regency TV.
