Fox Sports 1 is adding what it hopes will be a flagship nightly telecast that aims to help viewers navigate the array of games and events unfolding across the dial.
“America’s Pregame,” to bow April 7, will be an hourlong program dedicated to analyzing the field and answering questions fans might have — from who’s playing to why it’s worth watching — even for games playing on non-Fox channels.
“‘America’s Pregame’ puts fans first more so than any show of its kind,” said Scott Ackerson, Fox Sports 1’s exec VP of news, in a statement. “We’ll discuss in detail the night’s most compelling games, whether it’s a traditional rivalry or a battle for first place, using our roster of broadcasters and reporters throughout the country for live interviews, regardless of which network is carrying it.”
Fox Sports anchor Mike Hill will host the show, to air nightly at 6 p.m. ET.
