The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards take place next Monday, Aug. 25, with six programs competing in the Best Drama category. Question is–which show will win the top prize?

  1. Breaking Bad I believe will win and should win. It was tighter and better executed. Fan gripes about the [spoiler] automated machine gun are illogical considering these same fans praise the pseudo/hyper-reality ending to [spoiler] Gus’ death and Walt surviving chemistry bomb in Tuco’s lair. The machine gun rig is actually plausible and more grounded in reality than the other moments on the show. I digress though.

    True Detective faltered in the last two episodes and fumbled on the story aspect a bit. Phenomenal character study though.

    The only one I’ve never seen is Game of Thrones, but I think it’s between that and True Detective.
