DLT Entertainment Taps British TV Exec as Head of Drama

Donald Taffner’s DLT Entertainment is looking to expand its original series development activity with the appointment of Margaret Enefer as head of drama.

The company known in the U.S. for producing and distribbing Britcoms such as “As Time Goes By” and “My Family” aims to take advantage of the expanding global market for drama series and other productions.

“Margaret has a proven track record in spotting and selling great original ideas and producing high quality drama content,” said Taffner. “Her wealth of experience working for a variety of both in-house production teams and independent producers makes her the perfect candidate to drive our increase in drama output.”

Enefer comes to DLT after most recently serving as head of drama for the U.K. production outfit STV. She has also held exec posts at the BBC, Granada Television and RDF.

“Working with a boutique producer-distributor like DLT offers a wealth of opportunity to develop truly exciting, original projects,” Enefer said.
