Comedy Central to Develop ‘Vandaveon & Mike’ as Animated Series

Comedy Central has given a development deal to Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele to expand their Critiquer’s Corner “Vandaveon & Mike” characters into an animated series.

The series will follow the 12-year-old hall monitors as they navigate their way through middle school.

The cabler has also given another renewal to the duo’s Emmy-nominated “Key and Peele.” This extension brings the fourth season order to 22 episodes, 20 originals plus two “best of” episodes.

Key and Peele” is exec produced by Key, Peele, Jay Martel, Ian Roberts and Joel Zadak.
