CNN said it would add “Inside Politics,” a 30-minute round-table program hosted by John King, to its Sunday lineup starting Feb. 2 at 8:30 a.m. Eastern, marking the return of a signature program to the network’s lineup.
“Inside Politics” ran on CNN for years on CNN, but was canceled in 2005 after its anchor, Judy Woodruff, stepped down. Woodruff is now co-anchor of PBS’ “NewsHour.”
The program will feature a rotating panel of commentators, who will offer an insider’s take on the top stories of the week, the Time Warner-owned cable-news outlet said.
King has been at the network since 1997 and serves as its chief national correspondent. He has anchored two programs in the past – “John King, U.S.A.” and “State of the Union with John King.” Prior to joining CNN. he was a correspondent for the Associated Press.
