Saturday Night Live” will be welcoming alum Chris Rock back as the host of the NBC sketch show for its Nov. 1 episode.

That episode also marks the return of Prince, who will appear as the musical guest for the night. The performance marks Prince’s third stint on the show, and will be his first television appearance since the release of his albums “Art Official Age” and “Plectrumelectrum” in September.  His performance on “Saturday Night Live” will feature his band 3RDEYEGIRL, with guitarist Donna Grantis, drummer Hannah Ford Welton and bassist Ida Nielsen.

The band teased the news earlier in the day with a photo of Rock clad as the iconic musician.

I’ll tell you who cares. I care! I happen to still enjoy the show. Granted, it’s not the same show it was with the likes of Gilda but what is the same. If you don’t like the show, just change the channel. If you’re wife will let you! LOL
