Charlie Grandy and Peter Traugott have sold a half-hour single-camera comedy titled “48 Hours Until Monday” to Fox through Universal Television with a script penalty.
Grandy will write and exec produce the show, about a husband’s desperate struggle to not let every weekend go to hell.
Traugott and Rachel Kaplan (“Manhattan Love Story”) will executive produce through their TBD Productions banner, which is now under an overall deal with the studio.
An exec producer on Fox’s “The Mindy Project,” Grandy also created and exec produced NBC’s “Guys With Kids.”
Grandy is represented by UTA and attorney PJ Shapiro. TBD is represented by UTA and attorney Ken Richman.
