Warner Bros. TV project revolves around pair of LAPD detectives

Kevin Williamson is stalking primetime again for CBS, landing a drama thriller.

The untitled drama project revolves around a pair of detectives who handle stalking cases for the Los Angeles Police Department. Project hails from Warner Bros. TV and his Outerbanks Entertainment banner. Williamson wrote the script and will exec produce.

Williamson is already commanding a hefty chunk of primetime real estate as the showrunner behind “The Following,” which is posting strong numbers at the start of its second season on Fox, and an exec producer of CW’s “The Vampire Diaries” and “The Originals.”

Meanwhile, CBS has also picked up the comedy pilot “Save the Date” from Jackie and Jeff Filgo of “That ’70s Show” and “The New Adventures of Old Christine,” which follows a 30-something named Kate who drunkenly books a wedding venue — before she finds her groom. The Filgos will also exec produce. Project comes via ABC Studios and CBS Television Studios.
