GSN has expanded its executive ranks with the appointment of cable vet Chris Moseley as exec VP and chief marketing officer.
Move marks a return to TV for Moseley, who previously headed marketing and communications for Discovery Communications, and also was a top marketing exec at History. She most recently worked for the Madison Square Garden Co., where she oversaw branding and marketing for the Rockettes, among other duties.
At GSN, she will spearhead all marketing for the cabler, jointly owned by Sony Pictures TV and DirecTV, and she will work closely with its advertising and affiliate sales departments.
“Chris’ strong background in building and transforming brands is perfectly suited to guide GSN’s current base of successful shows and our ambitious slate of upcoming new originals,” said GSN CEO David Goldhill.
